Sautéing garlic for my spinach, which is one of my favorite ways to eat my veggies.
Today is Roy's birthday, the day he got laid off, the day Aunt Helen died, and the anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. We always celebrate the only good thing that happened on April 19th. .. his birth. We met for lunch halfway between the Heights and Katy and fortunately, didn't run into any high water. A lot of people really got slammed in this one and I pray for all of them and their families, as well as the animals that may be in distress. Hopefully the next round of rain won't be as bad as the weathermen are suggesting (you know how they are).
