Today we commemorate the birth of that ever lovable mouse that was once
a rabbit called Oswald. It was back in 1927 while under contract to Universal
Studios that Walt Disney first sketched a floppy eared bunny that later
became Mickey Mouse. So how many of you knew about Oswald? Certainly not me!
The beginnings of winter finally crept in this afternoon. Don't know how long it will last, but at least I can put the shorts away for a while. And I got to wear a jacket to dinner! We went to a Benihana-like restaurant with our dinner group and had a great time. They always give us the party room and let us order from the lunch menu which really only means lower prices. We love that place!
