I actually tried to celebrate National Jelly Bean Day, but couldn't find any jelly beans. But for Earth Day I got my car inspected. My tag expires at the end of April, but I chose today so I could celebrate Earth Day. Okay, maybe that last part's a lie, but since they check for emissions, I'm pretty sure it counts.
The best news for the day is I got my boot off! I went to my orthopedist, kind of for a second opinion, and he said the fracture is completely healed and there's no need to continue wearing the boot. This makes me especially happy because I'm going to Alexandria, LA for my 50th high school reunion next weekend. Perfect timing!
