Haiku Poetry Day

Bein's that I"m not a writer, and especially not a poetry writer, I was happy that I was spending time with Sage today. I suggested that we write one together and was thrilled that she knew all about it. For anyone who doesn't, a haiku consists of three lines. The first line must have 5 syllables, the second line has 7, and the third has 5. Sage took control and I only added a word here and there. She stated that first we should decide on the subject. I suggested hope, but she chose love, so we went with hers. And here it is...

Love is patient, Love
Is kind. Love is warm and sweet.
It is eternal.
